LAFAYETTE – A gathering to discuss the duties, rights and responsibilities of the title holders and the people in relation to the Gayanenhsa'gonah was held on March 19th, 2016. Speakers including Kanasaraken, Ateronhiatakon and Tekarontake were invited to speak to the people about how the Gayanenhsa'gonah could be restored. The presentations were filmed by Wandeyu Estrada-Goeman.

Ganienkeh was established as an "Independent Indian Republic" in the 1970s and operates according to cooperative economic principles and according to the Kayenere:kowa. The people of Ganienkeh are unapologetic about following their own ways, and they are a living example that it is possible for Onkwehon:we people to take back their lands and live upon them on their own terms.

SIX NATIONS – Tehahenteh is a Turtle Clan Kanien’kehà:ka elder from Six Nations who teaches the Kanien’kéha language. On February 3rd, 2016 he sat down to speak with Real Peoples Media about Iroquois Cosmology and the basis of the Clan system established by the Peacemaker. AKWESASNE – Kanienkéha (Mohawk Language) student Monica Peters has recently produced a video of all the beautiful animals she sees in the forest of her home community in Kawehno:ke ko:wa, Akwesasne, Cornwall Island. Peters has included Mohawk Language words with very rough translations (no literal translations) of Chipmunk, Turkey, Dog, Trees, Mist, Moss, Partridge, I am Walking, I am Running...
